| | Henri Azaz, an established Israeli artist, specialized in architectural art. His commissions ranged in mediums of wood, ceramic, bronze, and stone. In 1976, Dominican University received a large stone structure titled “The Form Makers” from Sensibar, a friend of the artist. Azaz carved this panoramic piece to highlight Chicago’s architecture since the Great Fire. Other works of his are visible throughout Chicago including a sculpture entitled “Hands of Peace” on the outside door of the Chicago Loop Synagogue. |
