Bollin, Leone Cobbum(American, c.1893)
American born artist, Leone Cobbum Bollin was born in Bluffton, Indiana. She studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the American Academy of Arts in Chicago. As well as being a professional artist, Bollin was an instructor at the Associated Art School in Miami, Florida from 1940 -1945. She then provided private instruction to students from 1945 until her death. Bollin won several awards including prizes in 1940, 1943 and 1945 from the Florida Federation of Art and she received the Blue Dome Fellowship in 1951. She was an active member of the Florida Art League and the Florida Federation of Art.
