Brandner, Karl(American, 1898-1961)
Karl Brandner was born in Oak Park, IL in 1898 and trained as an artist at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Fine Art Academy. He worked in the Chicago area for most of his life and is best known for his landscapes and depictions of buildings. He exhibited at the Hoosier Salon, Chicago Gallery Association, and the Palette and Chisel Club. He passed away in 1961.
