Curtis Jere(American, Mid 20th Century)
The combined effort of Jerry Fels and Curtis Freiler, “Curtis Jere” produced hand made metal sculpture primarily meant to be mounted on walls. Starting in the 1950s the artists continued producing artwork together until the late 1970s, producing a wide array of decorative pieces that tapped into the midcentury American interest in Asian motifs and geometric shapes. The pieces are now highly collectable because of their popular themes, high quality and hand-worked aesthetic.
