Lamb, Matt(American, b. 1932)
Matt Lamb was born in Chicago in 1932 and lived a life as an entrepreneur until a brush with death at 51. At this point in his life, he reevaluated his priorities, a move that led him to painting. Today he is a highly acclaimed, self-taught artist who has had many prestigious exhibits around in the world, including The State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, Centre-Picasso in Horta, Spain, Centre Miro in Mont-roig, Spain, Westminster Cathedral in London, England, Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris, France, Museo di Sant’Apollonia in Venice, Italy, and The Vatican Museums of Modern Art. His praises have been extolled by such publications as ARTnews, The Times of London, The Miami Herald, and The Chicago Sun Times.
