Livingstone Strong, Brett-(Australian, b. 1954)
Engaged creatively in the art world at a young age, Brett Livingstone-Strong rose to the world’s attention with the commission to create the invitation for Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Opening of the Sydney Opera House. After pursuing art at an academic level, the artist eventually moved to Los Angeles and established his reputation via a series of high profile artistic creations. Strong has received portrait commissions from Prince Charles, Dr. Armand Hammer and Michael Jackson and has sold art to Elizabeth Taylor and Rupert Murdoch. His paintings, drawings and sculptures typically feature whimsical subjects on the fringe of reality and often utilize bold, pastel colors.
