| | Ed McCullough is an abstract sculptor who was born in the 1940s on the South Side of Chicago and has always felt deeply rooted in the city. He attended Illinois State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1962 and a Master of Arts in 1966. Today he works at Columbia College Chicago where he feeds his love of teaching and continues to produce much commissioned work. He works primarily in stainless steel and many of his works were built for display outdoors, some are intended to be benches. He has been commissioned for work by many institutions including Chicago Police Department Headquarters, Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, Illinois, the Watertown Unified School District in Watertown, Wisconsin, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. |
