Pattarino, Eugenio (Italian, 1885-1971)
Although little is known about the life of Eugenio Pattarino, his skill has left his name well known in history. Born in 1885 in Florence, Pattarino created a great deal of religiously themed ceramic sculptures before he died in 1971. Much of his work is made of terra cotta and delicately painted. Besides sculptures of religious figures, he has also created delicate lamps depicting scenes and stories from the Bible. Today, many examples of his work may be found on the Internet.
